Mid Century Modern & Vintage Estate Sale
A very large estate sale of a former architects home featuring a great selection of vintage and mid century modern items. Located in the Leslie and Lawrence area.
A bit of history about this lovely family:
For many years, this was the beloved home of Bunny and Al Akitt and it is a true mid-century modern gem. Al was an architect, and his eye for design is woven into the home itself. He designed the extension to the home, thoughtfully expanding and shaping the house for their life together. Its mid-century character, clean lines, and thoughtful details make it a special example of the era and a reflection of Al’s architectural sensibility.
Bunny worked as a travel agent, and her love of travel became an important part of their life together. She and Al travelled the world, bringing home beautiful and unusual objects, artwork, and artifacts that became part of the character of their home. Over the years, these pieces were thoughtfully collected alongside exceptional designer furniture and objects that reflected their appreciation for modern design.
Together, Bunny and Al filled the home with family, art, travel, and exceptional design. This estate sale offers a rare opportunity to discover pieces from a home shaped by a lifelong love of architecture, modernism, art, and travel.
